The email from TikTok’s business team also explained that both Walmart and Oracle will take up to 20% cumulative stake in the company, while also expanding TikTok headquarters in the United States. This will lead to an increase in job positions - 25,000 expected new hires! Four of the five TikTok board members are American, which will also increase security and provide us with more say in decisions regarding the app as a whole in the U.S.
