Job Description:

Role Responsibilities:

Web Designers will collaborate with clients and coworkers to:

  • Develop websites on Shopify and Squarespace
  • Take initiative to find solutions for development issues or design flaws, including code editing, integrations, etc.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients so as to understand their expectations and needs
  • Create impressive and strategic designs that appeal to website visitors and improve metrics
  • Optimize time usage, prioritize and plan to meet deadlines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


What We Hope to See:

Swello’s minimum requirements are that candidates understand and agree to uphold and stand by our company core values, listed above.  Above this, preferred skills and experiences are as follows:

  • Experience with web builders such as Squarespace, Shopify, Wordpress, Wix, etc.
  • Experience with Adobe products: Illustrator, photoshop, Lightroom
  • Experience in HTML & CSS: simple basics of coding (javascript is a plus!)
  • Familiarity and experience in a web development, marketing, advertising, or sales capacity
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience
